Thank You Team Crutchfield and Team Inova Riders!

This was an unprecedented year for us as our two teams of 15 energetic riders raised over $15,000 in the "Luau at the Lake" MS150 event.  Many of our riders earned the coveted "Top Banana" jersey and Team Crutchfield received the Diamond award, thanks in large part to Heather Higgin's herculean effort.

In addition to the incredible funds raised this year to help our local Blue Ridge Chapter, this year's riders also established a new mark for team spirit.  Our teams received the "Best Dressed Team" awards by riding Hawaiian-style this year, bringing Lolita and Tiki man along for the ride.  J   Next year promises to bring more of the same!

If you, relatives, or friends would like to join us on this great adventure in 2006, please let us know by contacting Juan Ascoli at 985-8032!  We promise you a rewarding adventure you will never forget.

These raised funds will benefit our local Blue Ridge Chapter of the National MS Society, which provides vital programs for 2,200 people with MS and their families who live in 51 counties of western and central Virginia.  MS is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system.  Its progress, severity, and specific symptoms are unpredictable.  Symptoms range from numbness and paralysis to blindness and disabling fatigue.  Most folks with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 40, and the effects typically remain for the rest of their lives.
