Our training rides started March 9th and runs for 14 weeks, leading to the exciting June 13 & 14 MS Tour de Vine weekend. Come join us for a 3 month adventure that will invigorate your body, mind, and soul!
Rides head out on Monday and Wednesday evenings, leaving sharply @ 5:30pm from the far end of the Canine Campus parking lot. You're encouraged to extend your training into the weekend, by taking advantage of one of the weekend rides offered by the Charlottesville Bicycle Club. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to participate in local weekend events (e.g. Tour de Greene) for exciting weekend training, that serves as a perfect warm-up to the MS Bike Tour. These Spring training rides attract cyclists with a variety of experience, fitness, and skills. We'll have Freshman to Senior-level rides, with the Freshmen group receiving special attention to help learn about cycling, safety, and fitness. To determine your class and understand our riding expectations, please click here. We expect everyone of you to practice and promote safe cycling practices.

Other excellent training opportunities:
The Charlottesville Racing Club (CRC) and friends meet at Reas Ford every Tuesday and Thursdays at 6pm for 20 and 30 mile "brisk" rides for Juniors and Seniors.
The Charlottesville Bike Club (CBC) holds Saturday and Sunday rides with various paces which should cover Freshmen thru Seniors. Check out their ride schedule for more info.
